How You Can Help

There are lots of ways you can help and support your child through the Friends of Nonsuch.

Become a Friends Volunteer

All of our events are supported by an amazing and energetic team of parents who give as little or as much time as suits them.  It doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, or even if you can’t come into school.  There are always jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare. We are planning to hold a Friends Volunteer meeting twice a term where we can talk about upcoming projects, share ideas and have a glass of wine or a cup of tea together!  Please see Calendar of Events for details and look out for invitations in the Newsletter or your book bags.

If you would like to be more involved you can volunteer to be a Class Representative or Committee Member.

Matched Giving

Some companies operate a Matched Giving scheme which pledges to match any fundraising amount raised or donated by their employees.  This could involve any matching funds raised on a stall, matching sponsorship or matching cash donations to our school.  Friends of Nonsuch has befitted hugely from this boost to our funds.  If your employer has a matched giving scheme already in operation please do contact us.

Local Business

We are proud of our links with local businesses who are unceasingly generous in providing donations for raffle prizes and support for other fundraising events. This has made a huge difference to our efforts and we are incredibly grateful to them.  If you run a business and could help us in any way, we’d love to hear from you.

Donations

Donations from parents are extremely important and we are very grateful to receive them.  You can donate items for sale, raffle prizes or money and we will be organising collections throughout the year.

Skills and Services

If you think you can provide a skill or service which could help us at our events, to raise funds or in another way, we look forward to hearing from you!
