Computing
It is a very exciting time in the land of computing in schools. Not least because it has got a brand new name and a brand new curriculum! Gone is ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and now in its place is Computing, a fascinating and exciting, if not slightly daunting subject (for teachers at least!).
At Nonsuch, we have fully embraced the new curriculum and are loving it. We have iPads crammed full of apps to help with all aspects of the curriculum and our various computers and chromebooks being used all the time by children all over the school.
Below you can view a presentation detailing the basic differences between the old ICT and the new Computing curriculums. You can then see an overview of the different topics your children are learning about and which strand these topics fit into.
