18 March 2019

This week, we are looking at fractions of whole numbers and amounts (e.g. 4/9 of 81), moving onto looking at decimals soon. We will look at the relationship between fractions and decimals and decimal word problems.

In English, we have started writing our instructions for our space gadgets. Last week, we ended our persuasive writing with a Dragons Den style pitch, where the children had to really show off their persuasive language to try and convince the class to buy into their gadget. This week, we are writing a set of instructions to inform customers how to work the gadget.

We are looking at our own health in PSHE, the Easter story in RE, gymnastics in PE, 'the beach' in French and much more!

The Space Gadgets the children made as part of a 'mini' DT project will be coming home this week.
