Requesting Leave of Absence

Government regulations dictate that head teachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. Head teachers determine the number of school days a child may be away from school if the leave is granted.

Requests for your child's leave of absence need to be made on the blue forms available from the office and evidence will be requested to demonstrate exceptional circumstances. Otherwise, unless due to illness or medical treatment, all leave will be unauthorised.
