Fundraising
At Nonsuch Primary, we pride ourselves in supporting local charities through fundraising events and activities. our School Council are instrumental in deciding which charities we should support and we aim to run one per term. This supports our school values and ethos of a caring, nurturing school where people of all background and diversity are respected. Our school family make a contribution to the wider community which often includes our partner schools in the Sutton Education Trust. See below for the most recent events we have supported.

Alumni Fundraising Event ~ Nonsuch Primary Sensory Garden
We held our first Alumni Event on November 25th at school. We held a cheese and wine evening with a silent auction and tour round the school for pupils who previously attended Nonsuch Primary . We had ex pupils and staff from as far back as 1971, the first class of Nonsuch, and many from the years in between. It was a really enjoyable evening and we look forward to holding more events through the year to raise money for our Sensory Garden which we hope to start creating in the spring term. So far, the event has raised over £1300. Many thanks to the wonderful team of organisers and all the Alumni and current parents who attended.
Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Trust..
The SET Schools along with many other Sutton schools raised over £28000 for our local hospital trust in the summer term. The collective School Councils decided to participate in a charity fundraising event inspired by the Captain Sir Tom Moore Charity. Each school chose what 100 things to do for sponsorship. Nonsuch Primary School Council chose to run 100 miles collectively. This meant every pupil needed to run at least five laps of our daily mile track. The money will be used by the hospitals to provide an interactive Magic Carpet in the pediatric department for children waiting for appointments to enjoy. Some of the money will also go towards a bladder scanner and to provide resources for the staff to enjoy during their down time in hospital.
St Raphael' Rudolph Run
Christmas seemed the fitting time to support our local St Raphael's Hospice. The schools for the Sutton Education Trust decided to have their own Rudolph Run in school or around the local areas. St Raphael's provided reindeer antlers and the children had lot's of fun. At Nonsuch we decided to use our daily mile track to run around encouraging every child to clock up a mile for sponsorship. Nonsuch Primary raised £2877.40 with the SET collectively raising £10,217.57.
